If I remember correctly that the February 21st 2010 race date is changed to Feb 28th. Is that still the case?

M04M Body Help

Since all M04M bodies are no longer avaiable from Tamiya which one can I use? My Alfa body is badly damaged and i need a new one. The rules say i must use a RWD body?

I havent been to FC so I am wondering what to bring. Should I bring my own table/chair, extension cords, etc. Any other info on what to bring or what not to bring would be great.

Hooking up a PT to a tamiya ESC

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how one would hook up a personal transponder to a car using the stock Tamiya ESC. The TCS rules state that a PT is required.

Can the Tamiya ESC be used without the small red connector that plugs into the power port on the reciever?

So,Tamiya decides to bring two new Mini kits out , both bodies are REAR WHEEL DRIVE cars , both will be mounted on the M-05 chassis (FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ) ,one being the short version and the other the medium .

Now ...here is where the confusion lies....the TCS rules state in both Canada and the USA , that the body must match the drive of the car (ie.no rear drive mini coopers) or front drive Datsun 280zx / Honda S800 new kits...

Will this change the rules ,or are they going...

Awesome first race day at FastCats. Great turn-out with some new faces. Glad to see that the TCS series continues to bring new interest into this hobby. The new format makes for a quick day - got to race 4 races with prizes and still wrapped up before 5 pm. I'm sure plenty of wives / girlfriends were happy about that ...

Can't wait until the next race in December. Already marked it in...

I am just looking into more of the rules and such and since I want to run GT2 does this mean that the motor for the actual race is supplied by TCS? So the motor I would use for practice I would have to take out and then go get one from the offical's?

I am wanting to run this year in the series in the GT2 class and under the chassis allowences TT01 is mention. Does that cover all the TT01 chassis including the TT01R and TT01E or only the TT01 chassis?

Hello!

We have been fast at work preparing for the up coming TCS season and are pleased to annonce the dates, rules, formats, and guide lines for 2010. Everything is now posted on the www.tamiya.ca site under the TCS section. You will see some changes and we are pleased to have the season starting sooner with the 1st race happening November 8th 2009!!!!!

Last year was a greatly attended season, thanks to you! We listened...

Spec and GT3 class

I'm new to TCS this past year but has there ever been any consideration to adding the Spec and/or the GT3 class to the Canadian TCS? I think most people consider the Mini somewhat of a entry level class but I realized this year that its pretty competitive and those cars are turning quicker laps then most GT2 cars. I think it could be discouraging to some new drivers.

Also would like to see the GT2 class move to 17.5t brushless. I am getting passed by minis out there!

Hi TRF team,

Thanks for a good event, would you please post all of the results for the weekend? (top three know who they are but I imagine that most people would like to know how they stacked up 4-25th)

For what it is worth, I prefer the system you used last year - I will volunteer to do the addition and writting (assuming I qualify next year if it means we can return to that system).

First off, congrats to those who have qualified ahead of this saturday's last chance qualifier.

As the head of tech for this years TCS finals it is my responsibility to inform those attending the finals of some important changes to our handout motor rules. In years past, drivers were given the opportunity to purchase a second motor to use along with the handout motor we always provide, however for this year that option will no longer be available. Instead we have decided to...
