If I remember correctly that the February 21st 2010 race date is changed to Feb 28th. Is that still the case?

M04M Body Help

Since all M04M bodies are no longer avaiable from Tamiya which one can I use? My Alfa body is badly damaged and i need a new one. The rules say i must use a RWD body?

Hi Res Images No More

I have just had a call from our hosting service (yeah it's Sunday) to say that the Hi-Res images are being hot linked to by everyone and their dog as well. Not a straight download, which was fine by us-but a direct link. This means that the sites in question do not host the image at all, we at Tamiya/Borgfeldt have to afford all the bandwidth. I have been asked to watermark our HR images to stop the transfers, which I have done.

Hooking up a PT to a tamiya ESC

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how one would hook up a personal transponder to a car using the stock Tamiya ESC. The TCS rules state that a PT is required.

Can the Tamiya ESC be used without the small red connector that plugs into the power port on the reciever?

Hi all, the Tamiya.ca site has been at the very, very bottom of the to-do list for 4 months for personal reasons that I would rather not get into on an open forum. There have been many...and I really mean a lot, of cheesed off people asking why there are no updates, no nothing really.

Happily we are now back on track and the revamp will be fast and furious. We have had alot of really great ideas from Tamiya Enthusiasts and TCS...

More confusion

So,Tamiya decides to bring two new Mini kits out , both bodies are REAR WHEEL DRIVE cars , both will be mounted on the M-05 chassis (FRONT WHEEL DRIVE ) ,one being the short version and the other the medium .

Now ...here is where the confusion lies....the TCS rules state in both Canada and the USA , that the body must match the drive of the car (ie.no rear drive mini coopers) or front drive Datsun 280zx / Honda S800 new kits...

Will this change the rules ,or are they going...

Awesome first race day at FastCats. Great turn-out with some new faces. Glad to see that the TCS series continues to bring new interest into this hobby. The new format makes for a quick day - got to race 4 races with prizes and still wrapped up before 5 pm. I'm sure plenty of wives / girlfriends were happy about that ...

Can't wait until the next race in December. Already marked it in...

Setting up a Drift car

Hey, I'm new to the RC world, and I recently purchased an XB RTR on a TT-01E Chassis.
I want to play with drifting. I've already wrapped electrical tape around the tires and had some fun with that . . . but over all I found the tape still had too much grip so my drifts ended sooner than I hoped. So I decided to order some Tamiya Drift tires (hopefully they'll be here in a week or two).
Without purchasing more new parts, what are things I should adjust on the car setup to...

DB01 slipper question

I've got conflicting info regarding the 501 slipper and the DB01...
I've been told that the 501's fits in the DB01, but it looks like it's a different width than the stock setup. (the bearings on the 501 slipper do not line up with the slots on the durga's motor/slipper mount)
I've also read that it may be as simple as swapping out a part or 2 to make it work...

New To 1/10 Scale Electric Onroad

I recently got the itch for 1/10 electric onroad and bought a Mini M03. I would like to get into VTA and later some Touring. What would be a good kit to start off with, something i could use for both VTA and Touring. I`m looking for a the best kit for the $$, strong and durable ( if thats possible with TC ).

All the advice will be appreciated.
